Educating Doctors, Serving Patients

It’s no secret that we all learn in different ways. Anyone who’s been through elementary school can tell you this. Indeed, in grade school you quickly figure out what your learning style is. For some people, simply seeing something done is enough for them to grasp it. For others, it’s vital that they hear an audible explanation. And for others, it might be necessary to actually write it down, or even to experience it hands-on. We each have our own method of learning, and while there’s no one “right” way, it’s important to simply be aware of the diversity that exists here.

And if it exists in grade school, you can bet that it continues with us throughout our entire lives. Doctors are no different. Indeed, even medical professionals have ways in which they learn best. Of course they learn much of their profession through actually doing it—or at least, we hope they do!—but what about the times when they need to brush up on their facts and procedures in order to pass a licensure renewal?

That’s where Sy Schlager  and his team come into play.
